Chalkidiki is a beautiful peninsula in northern Greece, shaped like a trident with three “legs” (peninsulas) jutting into the Aegean Sea. It’s famous for pristine beaches, pine forests, and a blend of luxury resorts, traditional villages, and spiritual heritage.

  • Access: Only men can enter the monastic state; boat tours along the coast available for everyone

  • Thessaloniki – Gateway to Chalkidiki (nearest airport)
  • Polygyros – Capital of Chalkidiki, less touristy, traditional feel
