Very interesting is also the Medieval Castle on the hill above Myrina, the capital of the island. Holidays in Lemnos is a perfect experience for total relaxation. However, there are many things to do, including windsurfing and hiking.

The beaches around Myrina concentrate the majority of hotels in Lemnos, with the beach of Platy offering many good options as well. Since tourist development is limited in Lemnos, hotels are not large resorts and family places with simple facilities.
