The island of Patmos is one of the Greek islands of the Aegean Sea and it belongs to the Dodecanese islands group. The rest of the beaches are secluded and perfect for privacy. Located north of Leros, Patmos island can be combined for holidays with other islands of Dodecanese, like Kalymnos, Leros and Kos. Patmos is also a frequent stop for cruise ships to Kusadasi and Ephesus.
Most hotels in Patmos are found in Skala, the main port of the island where most tourist activity is concentrated. Many peaceful hotels and traditional apartments are found close to the port, providing good access to the well-organized tourist facilities of Skala. More secluded places to stay during your Patmos holidays are the beaches of Livadi Geranou, Kambos, Sapsila and Grikos. Few luxurious resorts have opened over the last years on the island with large pools, gyms and spa therapies.
