Paxos

Paxos

Paxos is a wonderful island in the Ionian Sea, geographically located south of Corfu. It is mostly famous for the exotic beaches in the close, uninhabited island of Antipaxos. Paxos has three small seaside villages where many private yachts and fishing boats moor in summer. These villages are lined up with fish taverns and studios. Daily boat tours depart from Gaios, the main village of Paxos, to the island of Antipaxos, a place with gorgeous sea water. Holidays in Paxos can be combined with the neighboring island of Corfu and the opposite mainland coasts.

The island of Paxos, in Greece, is one of the Greek islands of the Ionian Sea and it belongs to the Ionian islands group.
